10:50pm: I believe that everyone should add my new journal, [info]bitch_box to their friends list. I will friend everyone that adds me. I am probably going to stop writing in this one, and maybe make some of the archives friends only or private. Because seriously, history can be embarrassing.

12:24am: all of the pictures from today

Today held the best road trip of the summer! Joe, Judy, and I got lost in Chester and West Chester on our way to Bethlehem. It felt so natural to be back on campus [except for all of the crazy smart kids that took over] and I loved being in my precious new building and library again [with Karen!].
The cafe was nice - I enjoyed Surfer Rosa in the background. It made me think back to Mike singing to it on the way back from the Sonic Youth concert. I realized that all of my top ten current favourite people are car singers - no matter their vocal abilities they'll still hum, sing, tap, drum to the music - and I love that.

The past two days have been really wonderful. I've had a lot of good talks and long drives (around Collingswood / Camden County and the whole eastern side of PA) and really enjoyed my friends, which is something I missed for a while when I was trying to figure some things out.

Everything is going really well right now. I'm leaving tomorrow morning to go to SC and I'll be back next Friday, so bye!

12:23am: 6 days until I leave for SC
14 days until I return to NJ
17 days until the Radiohead concert
18 days until the new Sloan album "drops"
31 days until I return to school

I'm trying to think of a way to return a day earlier to school, because it would be easier on my mother.

I'm listening to the same albums I listened to when I was (postponing) packing up my dorm room in May and I feel painfully emo. Either that or it's the pregnant hormones rushing through my body.

2:36am: I read the lj communities hot_fashion and craftgrrl way too much (in addition to libraries and library_grrls).

I've also been falling over with dizziness a lot lately, which can only mean one thing: brain tumor.

2:32am: The satisfaction I get from running my hands up and down the back of my head never seems to end. I made Liz feel up my head in a Mexican restaurant bathroom.

I also desired (for the third time since Thursday) to buy these shoes, at some crazy slightly ghetto shoe store in Deptford. I figure I could buy them in Chinatown for a lot less.

2:50am: Friday was action pact! I walked with my little brother through town, stopping a few times (mostly to not get hit by bastard PA drivers who don't understand the concept of letting a pedestrian go if they're in the cross-walk). I read old Jet and Ebony magazines from the late 80's / early 90's in the used book store (apparently some kid named Eddie Murphy is going to be a BIG STAR one of these days) then I read (looked at the pictures) of the history of women's fashion from ancient times to present day (1967).
Afterwards I took a shower (!!!) and prepped myself for what proved to be amazing - a haircut. My hairstylist was the greatest person ever, even if she said that I had an accent. My hair is really crazy and I love it.
Then I hung out with my favourite C-wood boy, Rich, who now has green hair and has stories about France. We all visited our friend Joe then ate Rita's water ice (mint chocolate chip creme ice is greaaaaat). Poor Joe has a problem with pulling out his hair over Latin-related things.

Speaking of which, Jason is in Texas, Mikey is in a far-away land probably becoming gay and snorkling (unrelated activities), and David will be going to Texas Monday morning, so I'm going to die from boredom. In less than 12 days, however, I will be in South Carolina.

I can't wait to get out of my bug infested smelly house and into a swank townhouse full of dirty hippy spirit.

2:21am: In continuing with the theme set by the comments to second to last post, I did go to the post office, and I did see Pirates of the Caribbean with Liz and Judy. MAN #1 MOVIE OF THE YEAR. Johnny Depp is my favourite gay pirate ever. I just wish Judy's cell phone hadn't gone off like fifteen times, with Christmas ring tones. 4 REAL TURN IT OFF.

She also gave me a Bingo shirt because she is my home girl.

Liz broke the news to me that we can't go out because she has a boyfriend. :-( :-( :-( :-(

12:31am: Queer Eye For The Straight Guy is perhaps the number one best thing to happen to me this summer (tv wise). Eric and I are ultra-cool for loving that show.

My little brother burst my bubble and told me that I couldn't marry a gay guy. Fortunately I already have a Carson with a big belt buckle (and better hair). Still though, if that doesn't work out, I'm available for marriage (+ green card)!

2:29am: you're the sizzzzzleteeeeen
I really wish sometimes I would stop being such a goddamn jerk. Today (yesterday) was really nice. It took over two hours (including a stop at the Joyce Kilmer rest stop) to get to North Jersey. My grandpa just turned 86 and is as awesome as ever. We stopped a lot on the way home, including a toy store, a 'scenic overlook' on route 295 somewhere near Trenton, and the Wegman's in Princeton. I got some delicious spinach / garlic bread that I've nearly finished, and Tofutti ice cream and cuties (since my older brother always steals mine).

In unrelated news I am very lonely because a certain person (or as my little brother calls him, my "Jedi lover") had the nerve to go to Boston for a couple days! I just hope he comes back with a sexy Boston accent. For some reason I haven't been eating much lately, and my love pants (blue corduroys that I wear every day) are literally falling straight off. I also haven't washed them since graduation (June 18th), so I wouldn't recommend touching me.

In rock and roll news, the Modest Mouse concert is Friday. I haven't been this excited for a concert since last summer.

9:37am: So today has already been fun, because I went to bed at midnight and couldn't fall asleep until after 5:30 am. I had to wake up at 9 am, and we're leaving at 10 am for North Jersey.

Last night I had a third dream about the house next year [the first involving me being locked out and a second where I got rabies from a raccoon]. This time it was haunted.

3:03am: This weekend I went to Justin's once, saw the Real Cancun, laughed a lot, went to a lame party, showed Liz my bra, ate many cream puffs, went to Keane's once, freaked a pizza guy out, celebrated my father's birthday, and cross stitched.

Also today [14th] is my little brother's birthday. I WILL KNIFE U IN THE FACE LOLZ. JK I LUV U.
